"Dasgupta is very imaginative story teller. He enjoys to make unexpected twists and spice up his narratives with large portion of magical realism (which might turn many readers down, but I am mesmerized by it).

In this collection of short stories, reader oftentimes gets mindblown by how otherwordly, but still elegantly narrator manages to bring surreal flavours into the storieswithout messing up with its overall logic. As a bouns, Dasgupta also connects all of the stories with meta-narrative of passengers that are stranded on Tokyo airport for one night which encourages them to tell stories to one another.

There are numerous well-written pieces in this collection, but three of them shound out as exquisitely made short stories:
