Colors of Deception
by
"Courtney Cantrell has a way with words. Every good writer does, but among good writers Cantrell stands out as one who really has a way with words. This story of a college girl whose soul is sought after by a demon of Saltmarch has wit that will make you laugh and elegance to frame the plot beautifully. Cantrell, in her first release, shows the strong and unique writing voice of a master.

Expectation (Ghost Targets, #2)
by
"As the sequel to Gods Tomorrow, Expectation had a lot to live up to. Where Gods Tomorrow introduced an incredible world of science fiction technology (which is all very realistically near at hand), Expectation sets you comfortably into that world to solve a crime with Special Agent Katie Pratt. I wondered whether the following books in the series would have the same kind of appeal as Gods Tomorrow since the newness of this fascinating world would have worn off, but that fear proved needless. Aaron Pogue has written a solid story and crafted a world and a series of stories that are a must-read for lovers of mystery/crime novels and science fiction.

Gods Tomorrow (Ghost Targets, #1)
by
"Aaron Pogue has created an amazing (and amazingly realistic) near-scifi world that is fascinating to explore while solving cases with Special Agent Katie Pratt. The combination of mystery/crime novel with science fiction is a seamless blend that focuses on the story being told and tantalizes you with intriguing details and hints for future books in the series.
