Wouldn't a newbery honor 2012 poll be more appropriate. No way anyone isn't putting OKAY FOR NOW in the top spot.

Are we agreed that A Monster Calls qualifies? Jonathan said the Editorial will need to be stateside. I have my US copy ordered, the wait is long.

Irene is already sufficiently anthropomorphic for me so I think I'll keep Ness's yew monster under cover right now.
