DaNae I've been saving Pearl Thief for once school is out. Does it make the Newbery age cut? I'm making a list for my students. I wouldn't have put CODE NAME VERITY on it.

Monica Edinger I think it does. Upper end, but nothing in it that seemed out of line for that age group (that is, to almost 15). Not nearly as intense as Code Name Verity --- rather, a cozy mystery, I'd say. But I probably should reread to be sure. Be interested in what you think. Best to read it before you put it on their list.

DaNae Just began the audio today. Feels like old friends showed up to get me through my inventory.
