Nathan "N.R." Gaddis Seriously ; a few of these still need a home at my home. The Ozick, you'd say that's the one to go to?, because I've been passively wondering that for a long time now.

oh and thanks for the reminder about that like box per book for comments.

Jonathan yeah - I love all her books, but that is my favorite - it has some good meta/playfulness to it as well that I think you will enjoy. Friend William did a good review of it.

I'd read her Quarrel & Quandary: Essays but don't think I was impressed with it enough to keep it around. Which says absolutely zero.

....oh dear, given her name's familiarity to me, I'm rather surprised to find such low numbers on her profile! 2059 ratings on her most popular!?!?

Jonathan the most popular is also only 69 pages long and quite well known as a shoah-text.

Her essays are ok, but I understand why they may not have floated your boat.

Most of that was probably just what they were about (my narrow field of interest). But she did have one interesting thing in there on Anne Frank ; but I've never been invested enough in Frank to make too many inroads into her specific questions/concerns about Frank's proprietary questions.
