Oh yes! Have you read any of these others? "A Little Life" has very graphic accounts of child abuse, but it was the best book I've ever read.

Wow, how is the average rating for Goldfinch only 3.8? Crazy! I haven't read the others but as you seem to have good book tastes I'll add them to my to read list :)
