Armina Yay! What a great list!!! Did you see the publication date for Queen of Fire!!! It's July 7th! Not so far away!!! :) And the cover is gorgeous! Also, I just read the synopsis and there is a bit about the Ally in which we learn the Ally's gender! (view spoiler) So excited about this book!

Good to have something so great to look for in the near future after the total slump caused by the ending of Golden Son!

Gavin I did spot that! I only realized Queen of Fire was due for release this year when I spotted it on this list. I'm quite happy as it definitely counts as a release from a favorite series:) The cover is pretty:) That is quite the spoiler in the synopsis!!! I wonder if it made it there by accident? I am a bit sad to spot this is the final book in the series:( I could have read a lot more from this world. Hopefully we will get a spin-off series!

We have Firefight to ease us gently back into the world of great books:P Then we even have Fairest later in the month!

I have done some reading and we are due the next few Mistborn books in quick succession. Shadows of Self is due in October and then Bands of Mourning in January 2016!

Armina I knew Queen of Fire was due for release this year but I have forgotten about it! :) Now I ponder whether to re-read the first two books. Kinda soonish but I do want to re-read them! Tough choice! :) We shall see! I'm with you about the spin-off series or new great reads from this author!

We have some exciting reads ahead of us indeed. The ones you've mentioned and more. Have you forgotten about End of Days (Penryn & the End of Days, #3) by Susan Ee ? Publication date: May 12th! YAY!

Gavin I had no idea! I just expected Ryan to release a new book every second year like most of my other fantasy faves. I'm glad that is not the case:) I cannot wait for Queen of Fire. I guess we can decide about a re-read closer to the time. I so want a spin-off.

Not forgotten! I just had no idea:P I'm delighted by the news:) It seems like 2015 will have more good returning series that I initially expected:)

I wonder when we will get a new Laini book?

Armina Speaking of yours/ours fantasy faves and their slow writing process I have more good news. Sometime before the New Year I read this:

http://gentlemenbastards.com/thorn-of...

It's a website which is good and I remember to check it out from time to time(once a month :) ).
http://gentlemenbastards.com/

We know Lynch is quite tricky with his dates but still we might hope for a real date in mid-to-late 2015. Sounds terrific!

As for Laini - the info about her in the last anthology we read(the one you are reading right now) says she's working on something. Which is great too!

Gavin That is fantastic news! A new Locke book definitely counts as a top release for 2015. This year is looking more promising all the time:)

I'll finish that Christmas anthology soon! I only have a few novellas left to read. It has been OK.

As for Laini? I hope we get a new book soon. Preferably another fantasy series:)
