"It is long and at times tedious. But it covers life lessons for every conceivable concern a human could possibly face, including the best way to get to heaven."

1984

"Another school assignment..a couple years after Animal Farm. I found the story compelling and quite frightening. Put together with Animal Farm, my young life opened up to the ways society and the military interacts and what happens when it all goes very wrong. Big brother is watching us all! (Do I sound paranoid enough for you? LOL!"

Animal Farm
by
"This was a school assignment. My teacher and our Biology teacher got together and when the boys paraded with the pigs head on the stick, our biology teacher came in the room with a piglet on a ruler. It was a gross joke, but it has always helped me remember the way we learn from our parents - and repeat their mistakes. "

The Secret Garden
by
"A story that tore at my young heart. Put an orphan in a gothic mansion with strange noises and stranger little boys. Give her the chance to explore and find a secret door. It has been decades since I read this book, but I vividly remember my own visualizations of this story in detail. One of the best books ever."
