"It was completely confusing from the first chapter. I kept going back pages and pages because I thought maybe I had missed something. Half way through the book I was so annoyed because I couldn't figure out if the writer was being unclear or I was too stupid to understand something simple that was seen and yet unseen. Too much double talk. When I finally found out what the "trick" of the book was (by reading it on Wikipedia) it just felt this should have only been a short story. Also the main character and his murder investigation were completely uninteresting.
