Themis-Athena (Lioness at Large) Thank you, Wanda.

There HAS to be more by Hemingway ... Can you think of any others? Also Elmore Leonard, but all those that I've read that are set in Florida don't take place in Key West but in Miami or somewhere else ...

Wanda Think . . . think . . . is what I will do.

Wanda The Internet states two men named Tom Corcoran and Michael Haskins as authors from Key West writing about Key West. Not much by Hemingway other than your #1 up there.

Also a neat book called The Last Train to Paradise by Les Standiford about the rail line which traversed the waters to reach Key West. Now, that would be something to see. (Need to find that book.). This rail line was destroyed in a Labor Day hurricane in 1935. Wow!

Themis-Athena (Lioness at Large) I would have liked to travel on that train -- that must have been fascinating! What a pity the rail line was destroyed. It must have been quite a marvel of architecture and engineering, too!

Thanks for looking. I guess I'll leave my contributions to what they are, then ... have read neither Corcoran nor Haskins, alas!

Themis-Athena (Lioness at Large) And thank you, Bettie!
