Lisa Vegan Dawn, Okay, I added 10 books off the top of my head. I know I have more I've read and liked on my shelves, so when I have some time I'll search for and try to remember more.

Dawn (& Ron) Wow, 10 of the top of your head! I figured you may have some good suggestions, now to figure out which ones you added. BTW, do you have any suggestions for fiction cat stories for 11 year old? Something like Whittington or The Familiars (which I just started). My niece and I have a little book club and she loves cats. The Warrior series was a bit too intense for her right now and she is currently reading Whittington. Oh, she also read and enjoyed this, even though it was non-fiction, Dewey the Library Cat: A True Story.

Lisa Vegan Dawn, If you click on all votes from that page down the page on the right you can see how your friends voted. Click on each name/list and you can see each of your friends' lists.

Is the 11 year old a boy or girl? Might they like historical fiction? I'll try to think. When I was 10 I liked (and think I'd have liked better if I'd been a boy) It's Like This Cat but at the time it was contemporary and I was on the way to live in NYC for awhile.

Dawn (& Ron) Oh, I thought you meant you had added 10 books to the list. I checked all the friend votes before sending you an invite so I will have to go back check on yours.

It's my niece, she turns 11 in May. Whittington has an historical storyline as well as the contemporary one, which tells about the real life Dick Whittington's cat, so I'm waiting to see how she responds to the historical aspects. We just started the club late last year so I'm still learning her reading likes and dislikes. We both really loved the mermaid book The Tail of Emily Windsnap so I'm on the look out for those too.
