One trend I've noticed in AI-generated books for children is the use of absolutely mundane objects as "magical" things to carry the character(s) to different times or places. It strikes me as incredibly unimaginative.
Shoes, boots, backpacks, lunchboxes ... really, you couldn't think of anything even slightly interesting? I guess if that were the case, you wouldn't be using generative A.I. to make garbage books and publishing them.
