Enter all books where a year or date is essentially the only title. Subtitles are common, and thus allowed. The title MUST BEGIN WITH A YEAR, and additional text only allowed after a colon. Non-conforming books will be removed.

Jonathan's Cross seems to have some editions where it is called "1929"

Will, do you want me to remove books that have the year in the middle, like One Summer: America, 1927?
There's a similar but more inclusive list for any books about or named for a single year: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/9...
I am looking for a book I read in college around 1987. I think it was titled 1999. It was a novel about America. The people in the city were people that went by the new society rules. There were no births. All children were test tube babies and the government had total control of them. Does anyone have any idea of the name of the book?
@WillYour description says: "The title MUST BEGIN WITH A YEAR, and additional text only allowed after a colon." None of the following do:
December 1941: The Month That Changed America And Saved The World (#101)
Pearl Harbor Christmas: A World at War, December 1941 (#103)
The Great Crash of 1929 (#109)
Year Zero: A History of 1945 (#114)
The Fall of Berlin 1945 (#116)
Postwar: A History of Europe Since 1945 (#118)
Jonathan's Cross (#120)
Would you like them removed?
I have been collecting single year books for a few years now. I have about a thousand or so. My rules are a little more relaxed. I just require that it have the single year on the spine (I have a box somewhere of some that didn't quite make the grade.) I started with Wills' 1688: A Global History. For me the ideal single year book covers the history of the entire world in that year.
Mrs. Glen A. Friday wrote: "I am looking for a book I read in college around 1987. I think it was titled 1999. It was a novel about America. The people in the city were people that went by the new society rules. There were no..."Sounds a lot like Ultimatum in 2050 AD. There is a book called Doomsday 1999 but the plot is different.
As the title does not BEGIN with a year, like the description says, the following titles have been removed:New York 2140
Japan 1941: Countdown to Infamy
Berlin 1936: Sixteen Days in August
