I come from a Christian perspective, and it is to Christian writers I would like to speak:

Whether you are writing fiction or nonfiction, write for the glory of God. Ask Him to give you the ideas, and never write anything that is compromising or tarnishing to your testimony of your relationship with Jesus.

Keep honing your writing skills through practice, and research how to put together the best possible book.

And don't try to be like someone else. God has given you something to say from a unique perspective, which He can use to bless many people.(less)

God Knows Your Name

, we talked about the importance of knowing God’s name (which is really the same as knowing Him). Today, we’ll look at the other side of the coin — God knowing your name.

Names are important to God. As vast as the universe is, “He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name” (Psalm 147:4, NIV). If the stars are each important enough to be known and given a name by the Lord, He ce

“My prayer time alone with the Lord Jesus is more important than any other thing I do each day. There in the secret place, the devil's plans are shattered and God's victories are won, evil is thwarted and blessings are unleashed, sicknesses are overcome and sin is denied its sway over the lives of the weak. Our God is an answering God.”
Lee Ann Rubsam

“God is more concerned with our character than with our achievements. Achievements have importance only in the realm of time. Character is eternal. It determines what we will be through eternity.”
Derek Prince

“Never allow the smallness of others to imprison you.”
David Cartledge
