A storytelling blast from the past

I was poking around YouTube when I stumbled upon a video of me telling stories from The Ice Cream Vendor’s Song. This was at a Redwood Writers meeting about a decade ago.

Seeing the video makes me want to do more storytelling. It’s such a magical sort of thing, very different from when you’re reading text or interpreting text you’ve memorized.

It’s alive, spontaneous, from the heart.
