Kari's just an average gal with a heavy country accent... it's hillbilly chic, though--at least that's what she'd say.
After finding her writing start on Wattpad (before it was popular, thank you very much!) during her middle to high school years under the username "pink_cheer_girl", she moved on to writing full-length novels under a more professional pen name, Kari Lynn M. Which isn't really a pen name because it technically is part of her real full name... but, anyway, she began by self-publishing a wonderfully adventurous story called Cartoon.

Oh, Lord.
Probably not in the best way, I'll tell you that right now.
Whenever I get writer's block... I will stare. At anything. And I will subconsciously distract myself from writing. It's like a defense mechanism or something. And then, after staring at my keyboard for twenty minutes, I'll close whatever word document I have open and not come back to it for days. As many days as I possibly can without feeling overwhelmingly guilty from not writing. It's like a disease. And then, after that, I'll come back to the word document... stare at it some more... and repeat the whole process over again. And then again. And then again... until I get annoyed with myself and force my hands to type a mere one sentence. And then I'll close my laptop for the day... and then I'll open it the next and erase the sentence I wrote. And then maybe I'll finally play some classic Snoop Dogg, say 'what the hell,' and just go for it.
And then the block is gone!
...maybe. (less)

“Sometimes it's nice to have a dream,

“There is a difference between making a mistake and giving in to fate.”

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!”
Audrey Hepburn

“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.”
Audrey Hepburn

“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”
Albert Einstein

“Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere.”
Albert Einstein
