I am torn on this one. The story itself was interesting and the storytelling was decent enough.
The miracles and religious undertones felt forced for me (the soup pot refilling itself, bringing his son (the narrator) back after 12 mins of death, the gas tank somehow having enough to get them where they need to go even though they didn't know where they were going, the tornado story miracle and then without any explanation the Mom just... leaves?
