I started reading this book when I was in 9th grade. We're a few days out from May so I decided since it's the end of the year, I wanted to read this with my 8th graders since we're done with testing and just want a novel to read together.

When I was a freshman 13 years ago, I did not finish this book. I found it to be boring, hard to understand and drag out. I noticed my students thought the exact same way as I did.

If I did not have to teach this book, I think it would have been more enjoyable.
