Quick thoughts: Interesting premise that's held back a bit for the sake of a more accessible formula. I wish there was more straight up game skill. The concept of evaluating intuition via gambling loses steam with so much cheating going on.
That said, The game variations are interesting, as are the various "methods" of play. Yumeko is both compelling and rather disturbing at the same time, and a strong lead. 3.5 rounded down. I'll likely be continuing. ...more

I LOVE THIS MANGA. It is insane and fun as hell to read. The MC is a crazy girl who loves gambling. This manga is nuts. Beware though. There are (as with most manga) a lot of sexual innuendo's.

Having watched the first season of the series, I can only say that this suffers from many of the same problems. The games are short with the tension more on the person facing Jabami, not Jabami herself. You do not see the struggle as Jabami searches for the key to the puzzle, only the clever reveal at the end. As a result, we don't get to go through the same sort of struggle and triumph as you would feel in Kaiji or other non-fight battle manga. Fanservice is mildly obscene.

I heard about this series through Netflix actually. After 12 episodes (I think?), I asked myself "Is there a manga to this series?"... and that is how I stumbled upon this manga.
What's really interesting are the games that are introduced in this series. The author seems to take games you are familiar with (rock, paper scissors) and make a slight twist to them that makes it even more challenging.
