Shelves: 1001-books-2008

At times it's a difficult book to read. Not because it's badly written but because Tora has such a difficult life. She's the daughter of a German soldier living in post war Norway. Her mother's husband is a bitter man and she's an easy target. That said it's a hard book to put down because the characters are so interesting. May have to track down the other books in the trilogy. ...more
