I started reading this book a couple of years ago. I had actually bought it after I had seen the movie a few times and had decided I might like to try the book out. But not long into it, I put it down. I actually returned it to the store. So now I have a library copy that I'm going to go for again. .... Well, I decided to put this on the back burner for a while. I returned it to the library after 150 pages. It was getting tedious despite the great writing style and the engrossing plot.

Based on the movie, I didn't think I was interested in this book, until I read and loved Middlesex and read the rave review by Arukiyomi. Guess I better check it out.
