Excellent tale of family drama and if I remember rightly, ghostly worlds.

Very entertaining. Not too hard. Not too deep. Just very enjoyable. Allende draws a vivid portrait of Chilie and its struggles.

This book I started years ago and got interrupted while reading. I reread it now in its entirety and feel grateful that I did. Certain themes feel timely as the year comes to an end.
