What Members Thought
I picked up all seven of these novels after years of considering it. What can I say so far? I am loving it. I finished this and started on the third one the same day. This one picks up immediately following the first in the series. More questions are answered, more excitement ensues, and two new characters are added to Roland's quest to find the Dark Tower.

From the moment that the Lobstrosities maimed Roland, I was wondering WTF is going on here?! However, he was able not only to deal with it, but to overcome it surprisingly well. Then he starts the process of 'drawing' the people who would later become his allies, apprentices, and dare I say family. I guess what I really enjoyed was the crossing over of Roland from his 'when' to other 'when's,' different times in and around NY city.
