Boring. I did finish it in speed read mode. There’s absolutely no story here. No conflict-resolution arc. No bad guys. At about half way through I felt like I’d had enough chapters showing me what kind of people my characters were and we were about to get some action, but no. Even the pirates who board their ship were pretty decent fellows just trying to feed their babies. Yawn.

I first want to say, I adore this book. Her characters are so dynamic, real, and full voiced. I am in full and complete love with this book.
My one and only complaint is that it felt that the climax and resolution were way too quick. I wanted about ten more chapters of both.
Other than that, the wayfarer is a ship I want to live on. I want to befriend this crew . I think I found a new author to add to the favorites list.
