A cover blurb for this book compares it to the TV series "Lost" and it's clear that the show played a fairly decent role in the plot, but I liked "Lost" and enjoyed this as well.

This was an amazing. captivating, mysterious page turner that I looked forward to reading every day. The most exciting part of this book was the continuous unveiling of the mysteries and the many unexpected twists that take you on a very unexpected journey. Audiobooking this one. Enjoying Ray Porter's narration. I'm entertained by the cast of characters and the whole California mindset melded with the horror/mystery genre.
