***A few SPOILERS if u aren't on book II***

I went to see the movie, fell in love with Jace on the screen and then raced home to finish the 2nd book! I am now half way into book 3. I was slow to get into this series and thought I would put it down until I went to see the movie. The movie actually helped me understand MORE about what I couldn't grasp from the book. Don't know why it got terrible reviews; they only changed a few minor things, like the "rat part" and the whole ending... anyhoo, back ...more

Although I liked the fact that this scene was in a different point of view, I personally did not enjoy it that much. It seemed so unlike the character that Clary sees Jace as, much too sensitive but the most unbelievable part was the overthinking. It felt as if Clare was trying to fill up spaces with action and words that didn't remotely feel like they were actually coming from the intended character.

Why must you make this so hard for me to write a review????????? This is crazy. I'm not sure how to convey to y'all my feelings for this book. But, somehow, I'll manage. For your sake.

After watching the City of Bones movie, I have come to like Clary A LOT more. She's not that annoying anymore. BUT she's still not the best protagonist in the world. In contrast, Jace...he seems extra stupid in this book. H ...more
