I GET IT NOW. I GET WHY EVERYONE LOVES JENNIFER ARMENTROUT. SHE'S AMAZING!This book just kept me up all night and my sleepiness is a proof. I read this straight from 4 pm to 1 am til my iPod died and woke up at 7 am to continue reading it. I was only one chapter in and it was already hilarious! With the whole "Beautiful face. Beautiful body. Horrible attitude. It was the holy trinity of hot boys." < Kat knows what she's talking about :)

Okay, so when I first saw this cover I was definitely intrigued. Not to mention that the reviews were more than favorable, so I thought I'd go ahead and give Ms. Armentrout a try. I'm glad I did!
Obsidian, the first book in the Lux series, is very much like Twilight. Personally, I like to call is Twilight 2.0, or Twilights better and more awesome cousin. It's pretty well written and I absolutely love the interactions between Katy and Daemon.

WOW! This is such a great read. I loved every minute of it. As much as I hated Daemon, I'm glad that he has met his match. Kat is one tough cookie. She won't make things easy for him. I am so going to love their love-and-hate relationship.
I loved the whole new take on the aliens thing. I thought that was pretty cool. I loved it. The Luxen and the Arum are both badasses. Can't wait to read more! ...more
