I just finished reading City of Bones yesterday and Oh My Goodness it was amazing!!! It only took me about a week to actually read this book because I would stay up late reading this book and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! I loved being introduced into the world that Cassandra Clare has created and introduced to all these characters!! My favourite characters would have to be Jace and Isabelle for sure!! This is one of my fav books EVER!!! and that's saying a lot because I read a lot! My favorite character was Isabelle and Jace. I couldn't really connect with Clary. Honestly she kind of annoyed me throughout the whole book. But each character is interesting and they all have backgrounds. I liked the world of the Shadowhunters. I thought it was very interesting. I know, I know. I'm extremely late to this series. I had actually meant to start it a long time ago, I just always tended to find something else. this book was fairly good. a friend recommended it to me and after enough pestering i gave in. I was expecting more, considering how highly she spoke of the book. i was a bit disappointed, and maybe thats why i down graded it. My hopes for this books were too high.
I did like that the book incorporated several different mythological creatures (Vampire, werewolves, witches etc). but it was short lived since i didn't like them much.
