So I had a hard time getting into this book. At the beginning I was so confused because of all the different creatures and trying to keep who was what straight just baffled me. But, after a specific someone gets turned into a rat the action started to pick up and I was hooked. The end had me riveted and I am looking forward to the rest of the series. Yea, so I read this about two weeks ago and forgot to add it, lol. Anyway, so the reason I even READ it was because I was sick and tired of hearing how great it was. I finally said, "Ok! I'LL be the judge of that!" The results are in: It was great. I understand now what they all were talking about. After a while I am finally writing my review.
I was expecting more from this book especially with all the great reviews my friends have given the book but I was greatly disappointed. The book had typical outcomes and was predictable. I believe that this book is a good read but it is not worth five stars. Overall, I still enjoyed it I just would like there to be more twists and turns in the story and not make the book as predictable as it was.
