What Members Thought
I give this book a 2.5/3.
It wasn't that this book was bad I was just turned off by the main character. I found her a bit annoying and lacking in the assassin category. After all the praise and fear she receives from the other characters about being the world's most infamous assassin she hardly shows off her skills. A lot of hype and talk but not nearly enough action.
I also found her to be very (dare I say it?) girly. I found it annoying how she went on and on about pretty dresses, shoes, balls ...more

Throne of Glass took me a long time to get into, hence why it took me so long to read. Though once I finally got into it, I was hooked and could not put it down. It is beautifully written, if not the most beautifully written book I have ever read. There are so many twists and turns, it was impossible for me to fully predict what was going to happen. Ahhhh, this book was aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzziiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggg! I loved it so much! It was so interesting, intriguing, and I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book to any YA (dystopian) fan! Staying up and reading this book is totally worth it! :)

I've had my fair-share of action-fantasy-romance YA novels and damn this one's good. Like insanely good. Hands down to Sarah J. Maas. :)
