Now it's official: Neil Gaiman is on my direct-to-buy list. As in, the authors whose books I buy without downloading the sample, without checking the reviews, without reading the summary, if the fancy strikes me.
"The Graveyard Book" is wonderful. I can't believe I haven't read it before. I'm already going into good book withdrawal...

The Graveyard Book was such a ride! It was full of characters you can’t help but love—especially the ghosts. Seriously, every ghost felt like they had their own backstory just waiting to be told, and I couldn’t get enough of them. The whole vibe of the book is this perfect mix of eerie and heartfelt, like it’s gently spooky but won’t leave you sleeping with the lights on. It pulls you in so deep that leaving the graveyard felt like saying goodbye to friends.
