I read this book last month and I can honestly say that I am impressed! This is the first book I read written by Gayle Forman and, the one thing I really like about her writing style is her descriptions of the settings. Part of the novel takes place in Europe, Paris mostly, and I was able to see a clear picture in my mind of the streets of Paris, though I've never been. I thought there were some meaningful moments between Allyson and Willem and loved how he compared being in love to the birth ma ...more

Shelves: contemporary, could-have-been-better, okay-read, stand-alone, need-to-review

It was an alright read even though I did enjoy the first half of the book more then the other half. I don't know just my opinion.

Very much in love with it. It was like two stories combined in one. It's was beautiful, endearing, and had a great lesson we all need to learn. Sometimes life is unexpected, and a little adventure can lead you to a path of freedom. By venturing off from the ordinary you can discover your true self. That everyone has a fate; kismet.
