What Members Thought

I don't even know what to say. I really thought that I wouldn't like this book, but it is so perfect. It has even inspired me to go to Paris. (Yeah... I was one of those girls who never wanted to visit the City of Light.)
Everything about this book is brilliant and swoon-worthy. I felt like I was in Paris with Anna, Mer, Josh, Rashmi, and St. Pierre. I now feel like I have traveled the streets of Paris and been to the top of Notre Dame. I will forever be a part of this book.

You can read this review and more on my blog:
This is another book I read a while ago so I will try to remember as much as I can.
I know that I laughed and smiled a lot while reading this. The interactions between Anna and Étienne were adorable. I always enjoy reading books about best friends falling in love, and I think that's why I read this. There is just something about finding out that the right person for you is also someone you have some history with, that appeals to me.

one word people : Paris
Was too teenage-drama for me? yes! I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was 16-18. Anyway It's a good story.
The heroine is a typical seventeen year old caught in love triangles and backstabing friendships. The usual staff when you are eighteen, ok , the typical staff in ur whole life. :P What I hate about her is the fact that she was whining because her father send her to Paris, COME ON , nobody in the world would ever whine about Paris, anyway I liked her after that ...more

It's true that upon starting this I thought I was going to instantly love it because of all the great reviews but I didn't which really disappointed me. I think it's me expecting too much out of books because I want them to grip me from the very first page if not the very first sentence. Anna and the French Kiss didn't do this for me like so many books don't except the small 5% of books that do.
It was unfair to judge this based on the beginning however because I really enjoyed it so much I fini ...more

I'm totally in LOVE with this book.
If books could be called 'cute', this one would get the 'Cutest book of all time' award! I loved all the characters. The plot was just refreshing, for lack of a better word. And the writing was smooth. But most of all the best part of this book was that it didn't tell us about a perfect girl and guy falling in love. There were complications, the characters were flawed and the circumstances could be related to. So yeah, this one is one of my fav books. ...more

Yayy! I finally read the book that everyone and their mothers have read! So this was a charming read but I don't think I liked this book nearly as much as everyone else did. In the beginning it took me quite some time to get into the book but once I did it was refreshing.
