This is my third time reading this book. As you can see it didn’t take me long to read it this time (it is a very quick read). I really enjoy it, I love to re-read it, and it’s one of my favorite books.

I still remember that day way back in 2010, when I walked into Barnes & Noble and the shelves were lined with a new book called Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. This was one of the worst books I have ever read. If I wasn’t listening to it in audio form I would have stopped reading it and never finished it. My wife and I heard about the movie coming out and it seemed like such an interesting twist that we got the audio version. She listened to it first and didn’t like it much but I thought this was right up my alley. I tend to like the bizarre and weird fiction so I had higher hopes when I started.

OK where do i even start. RANDOM. ODD. this book mixed history we all know with an asinine plot that had me rolling my eyes at times. The ending.. are you kidding me? LAME. I am a HUGE vampire fan but this book was so, whats the word, wrong. That's it. Wrong. At no point did you believe it but the mesh of TRUE history was so seamless that you start to question the possibility.
