I was all set to give this 3 stars, but liked the ending enough to bump to 4. Seraphina is half human and half dragon: her mother in human form fell in love with an important lawyer and never revealed her dragonself. Family secrets are deeply buried, but Seraphina's uncle is her main tutor. Seraphina is disturbed by her mother's memories, and the human kingdom is disturbed by the murder of the prince. I'm not sure where yo start with this one... There were a lot of terms that I wish had been explained within the text. But the story itself was amazing and the world-building was breathtaking! Seraphina, while critical at times, was a beautiful heroine! And Kiggs was a great love interest. I just need time to mull over this one. Full review to come!
