Wicked Lovely is book one in the Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr. This series is about the Fae, creepy and dangerous faeries who torture and play games with mortals...well, at least the winter and dark fae torture the mortals. The summer faeries are dying. If they don't find their summer queen, than the summer king's powers will remain bound and the winter queen will continue to freeze out the summer. The story was a little slow in the beginning, but I really enjoyed it. (view spoiler)

Figured I should dive into this series. And to tell you the truth I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. The fact that it wasn't in first person as so many YA books are these days kind of threw me for a loop. I didn't feel as connected to the characters. I did like Ash's growth though. At first she was this whiney scared little girl and by the end she was much stronger. Her and Seth were so cute. I hope they end up lasting throughout the series... Keenan was a pain in the butt.
