There was just something about this book that I couldn't connect with. I had read the first two books of Alyson's Immortals series but couldn't get through the rest. It was a series that I had to break up with. So I don't know if I went into this book with preconcieved misconceptions on Alyson's writing but I honestly tried to be objective.
