This story really gathers speed as it goes on. The prose at the start is a little clunky and feels like what it is, an author's debut novel. But the story itself quickly pulls you in and once the adventure part of the story kicks in you're in high gear and things flow more smoothly. There's a lot to love about this story and as a first novel it quickly gets you invested in the characters wanting to know more.

Kesley was interesting. I loved how she already talked to the tiger before that she knew he could understand her. I love the fact the Kelsey spent so much time trying to free the prince who had been cursed. I loved how she fell in love with the prince during their time together. Mr. Kadam is really awesome. I love him because he was there for Kelsey when she needed him. Ren is awesome, and I love him. I like Kishan better than Ren though because he is so awesome and he takes what he wants.
