[close] The story "The Five People You Meet in Heaven” is about a man named Eddy as he meets 5 people whose lives he has affected or had affected him. Eddy is a matinence worker at a boardwalk named Ruby Pier. He has been there most of his life. His father worked there and he and his family lived in an apartment near there. The story starts off with Eddy dying at the age of 83. A suspension rollercoaster was stuck. And Eddy and his coworkers had to save the people stuck on the top of it. With Eddy at the bottom he clears the people so they don’t crowed. Suddenly the coaster snapped causing the ride's car to free fall. As the car is falling, Eddy sees a little girl stuck under the area where the car will fall. He struggles to get her because of his age and trips and falls and reaches her but then he dies. He finds himself in heaven not knowing if he saved the girl or not.
This story was very engaging. Mitch Albom never failed in this book he only succeeded. He did really well in descriptions of how Eddy traveled through heaven to meet the 5 people. In this category, no one has written a better book. I consider this book as a fantasy gospel kind of book. This book in fact is my favorite book I have ever read. His visuals he puts in your mind, the suspension of not knowing if Eddy saved the girl or not until the final pages. There was no dull point in this book. Sometimes it even might bring you to tears. Album’s book makes you feel the emotions that Eddy feels and the feeling at the time. “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” is a great, gripping emotional book that makes you want to keep reading.

I read the book called "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom the main characters in this story are Eddie, in the beginning of the story he dies on his 83rd birthday, he wakes up in heaven and starts this journey where he meets the five people that connected with his life the most.Eddies Father is another main character he is an alcoholic and a mean drunk, he was never nice to Eddie he was very violent. The next five main characters are people that Eddie meets in heaven.The Blue Man I read the book called "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom the main characters in this story are Eddie, in the beginning of the story he dies on his 83rd birthday, he wakes up in heaven and starts this journey where he meets the five people that connected with his life the most.Eddies Father is another main character he is an alcoholic and a mean drunk, he was never nice to Eddie he was very violent. She teaches Eddie that his life was useful.These were the main characters that were in the book I read.The overall theme in this book would be definitely be Love. Even thought Eddie was miserable there is lots of love throughout the book when he meets his wife again in his afterlife. Eddie learns that even though life ends at some point, love endures. The major plot of my book is in the beginning Eddie dies on his 83rd birthday trying to save a little girl from a falling cart on a roller coaster at the amusement park he works at and has worked at all his life called, Ruby Pier. He wakes up in his afterlife, or heaven and he meets five people that were an important part of his life. All these five people teach him each a different lesson and why he meet them in his afterlife. To find out what these lessons were you will have to read "The Five People You Meet in Heaven".

"The Five People You Meet in Heaven" is a wonderful book it was very engaging and incredibly a quick read which I like. It taught me many things just like in the book Eddie got taught a lot of things, so I can relate to the main character in some ways. I thought it was cool how the author made the main character travel through is own afterlife. It was very interesting and made me want to keep reading. This book is a very imaginative book as well. The author did a nice job with how he used forwards and flashbacks throughout the book because in some books when authors use flashbacks or forwards it doesn't fit but it definitely worked in this book. The only thing I didn't like was that throughout the book it was getting better but at the same time getting worse because I found myself caring less about who the next person Eddie was going to meet. I think the author should've used more details in some areas to make it more exciting, but overall I thought this book was a very good book and has a very unique story. I would recommend this book to people who don't like reading as much as others like myself because you can easily get into this book. Overall I think Albom, the author succeeded and I would love to read more of his books.

The book shapes heaven into a place which the people passed away, they go there meet five people and know the things was mystery in there earthly life, and knowing what was worth in there life.
