WOW, WOW, WOW, that doesn't even cover how I really feel about this book. This book was fantastic, I cried and laughed so much over the past day that my body aches. I have read many books that have been redone in the other persons point of view but none like this, I expected it to be the same exact story but just told from the other persons perspective. Yes this was told by Will but how Colleen set it up was so smart, inventive, and fresh that it blew me away. I loved that she presented it inste WOW, WOW, WOW, that doesn't even cover how I really feel about this book. I have read many books that have been redone in the other persons point of view but none like this, I expected it to be the same exact story but just told from the other persons perspective. Yes this was told by Will but how Colleen set it up was so smart, inventive, and fresh that it blew me away. I loved that she presented it instead as a way of them reminiscing of the past while they were on their honeymoon. I loved how she allowed them to still be affected by what they each remembered of the past, how Lake was deeply affected by the date Will went on and how this led to a mini story of its own right then and there. I loved how it wasn't a repeat of the whole story, instead we got to hear about key parts of their story that Colleen felt were the parts we really needed to hear from Will's perspective. The one part when they go to get the tape measure and Lake is so hopeful they can be together now and it cant be, she leaves, he wants to go after her but once again stops himself, then he says "The realization that I need to let her go for good physically brings me to my knees" that tore my heart out, I swear I could feel his agony, even though I know what happens it still cut me to the core. The final part when it all comes together, when Lake comes to the club and reads her poem "Schooled" was amazing and then Will responding by reading his poem about a girl he fell hard for and he was putting first, reading this from his point of view was so great, I always wondered what he must of thought when she jumped up on that stage, he was hopeless at this point, he thought she was over him, he had lost her, and then there she was, I am starting to cry just writing this review because it was one of the best parts of the book. I love how we get to have a chapter of them coming home at the end of their honeymoon and then the epilogue tied it all up in a beautiful emotional bow and the poem at the end "My Final Piece" being the final thing I read was just too much, I was down right bawling my head off by that point, there was no stopping the flow of tears, I could barely read the words because of the tears, this book was so good, it cant be missed, if you read slammed, and point of retreat you cant miss this book and if you did not read any of these books you need to right now. I love this author, I love all of these books in this series, I love Will and Layken together, I Love This Girl. ...more

I butterflying loved all the books from this series especially this one! Colleen Hoover you are officially my favourite author! I cannot wait to read about Holder's side of the story.if you have not read any of books, pick one up you will fall in love!!! ...more
