I had so much fun with this book. I needed something light and easy after reading Ninth House and The Bromance Book Club did the trick. If you are looking for steam you won't get it till the back half of the book but I enjoyed this book anyway. Normally I want them to get steamy early but I liked the back story to this one leading up tp the steam.

Such a great book! I loved that the main couple were imperfect and we got to see their flaws and them grow by the end. I couldn't stop reading this one it just flowed so well. I must say I'm not a rom-com fan but there were parts where I really did laugh out loud!! I will definitely recommend this one to all my book loving friends!

The Bromance Book Club was even better than I expected! It was laugh out loud funny, sweet, frustrating, sexy, and just everything I could ask for in a romance novel.
Gavin and Thea's marriage is on the rocks, with Gavin having moved out of the family home after an "incident" in the bedroom. Alone in a depressing apartment, he falls into the bottle. I have not highlighted so many passages in a book before simply because I was giggling with glee. SO MANY laugh out loud moments here. This book was such a refreshing take on romance. As someone who's been married for a while I know that the hot and heavy romances I read are not realistic long term. I think that is part of why I enjoy them, they're an escape from the every day mundane. The Bromance book club though is about what happens after the "happily ever after". I LOVED this book! What a great premise.
I really liked that it wasn't just the H who had to work on the relationship but also the h too. It wasn't all one-sided. I think some men could learn a thing or two from reading a romance, but especially a historical romance.
I laughed and smiled all the way through reading this and I couldn't put it down. Definitely recommending it to everyone as this was one of my top 3 contemporary romance reads of the year.

4.5 what an excellent depiction of a marriage at the edge and a couple trying to find their way back to one another! I loved the male friendships in this book. It was laugh out loud funny at parts!
This book had me laughing in so many parts. Gavin had me swooning with his attempt to save his marriage. I was not a big fan of Liv and how negative she was on Gavin and how she tried to influence Thea and Gavin’s marriage. This was just a fun laugh out loud book.
Have you ever read a book that makes you smile constantly? That was me with the Bromance Book Club. This book was seriously adorable. I loved both Gavin and Thea and was truly rooting for them. Sometimes you just need a book you know will have a happy ending, and I love that romance can always provide that. I can’t wait to read more by Lyssa Kay Adams. This one is out now and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a low steam contemporary romance.
