This is my second book from Renee Carlino. I read Swear on this Life last year and I loved it. I loved her unique storytelling.

Carlino is one of my favorite angsty, heart wrenching authors. I binged a bunch of her books in 2017-2018 and Before We Were Strangers was one of my favorites. This book messed me up but I absolutely loved it. It's a crazy emotional ride. five stars
