I found myself re-reading this book even before I finished it. There would be a reference to something that happened earlier and I would go back to read that and keep reading just remembering the things I'd read before with a new view on them. Goody good good.

I have heard this is a great book/series.. anyone have opinions? Should I spend my $$ on a copy or should I paperbackswap.com it? Thanks!
ETA: Oh Dear! I am currently listening to this on audio book. I am IN LOVE with this book and I can only imagine that the rest of the series will be as good! I recommend listening to this as opposed to reading it because the accents are incredible and help develop the images in my mind. AWESOME!

I didn't want to read another silly time-travel book. But I picked this one up because I kept hearing good things about the series, and I loved it! Incredible amounts of historical detail made for a great read.

A bit long, but worth it. It took me a while to get into this one, but once I was hooked boy was I hooked. Great book.
