I always seem to give Maisie Dobbs high stars. I think it is because they are quicker reads but they also make you think. They are also very clean and very well written. This one really puts forth different ways in which her life is changing. The ending takes you for a ride and leaves you wondering where she will go from here. I have my hopes, but I also hope the author (who truly knows Maisie) takes her on the journey she was meant for. Can't wait for more!

The best so far in this amazing post World War I series in which the amazing Maisie Dobbs transcends the mystery genre.
This one may be my favorite Masie book! I loved it and couldn't put it down once I had time to actually sit and read! I have book #9 on hold at our library and can't wait to begin it! Meanwhile I'm reading Pat Conroy's My Reading Life.

I love Maisie Dobbs. This was really good. It had a little more romance in it for Maisie- which was good after 7 books. I hope she has another mystery to solve soon!
