I only gave it 4 stars because so few of the characters are likable and sometimes it's very "FLAMES...ON THE SIDE OF MY FACE," but it's a VERY gripping listen. Honestly, if it weren't for Nellie grounding everything in a very likable, though human and flawed, perspective, I don't know how I would have gotten through it.

This book has more drama then Dynasty and Dallas blended together with a heavy-handed dash of Falcon Crest. The best part was when Heathcliff had the best epic freakout in literature and basically morphed into Wolverine.
