9/29/12 Second attempt at reading this book, but now in audio format. First time I tried the paperback. Too dark for my tastes. Only sticking it out since it is to be discussed by our book club. I really could care less about the characters and feel frustrated wasting my time on this when there are so many other books I want to be reading! I made it though part 1.

I guessed the big surprise before it happened, but wow, this was really dark and really twisted! I was extremely bored with the first half of the book, but once the big reveal happened, it really picked up. I couldn't believe the direction that the author decided to go with it, especially at the end. I honestly hated both of the main characters, but I think Flynn wanted us to hate them. I can't wait to read more from her. I kind of hope she does a sequel for this too. She definitely left the end ...more

People who said this book was great are a bunch of liars! I wanted to burn this book. I hate the main characters. They're horrible and despicable. There's no light at the end of the f**cking tunnel. Why I even gave it two stars? Because of the major plot twist in the middle. Then it goes downhill from there. Overall, this book was a chore to read! ...more
