A man becomes obsessed with vengeance when his soul mate marries another man.
A movie was made based on this book: Wuthering Heights (1992) with Juliette Binoche, Ralph Fiennes, Janet McTeer.
However, I still prefer the classic version from 1939 with Merle Oberon, Laurence Olivier, David Niven and directed by William Wyler.

Rather silly and more like a soap opera than anything else. However, if you enjoy laughing at said soap operas, I'd highly recommend this book.
