I don't normally enjoy reading fantasy, but this book kept my interest. The story was good and I liked the characters a lot. I do think that the author had to stretch to include his photographs in the plot sometimes, and I found that to be distracting.

Really enjoyed this book. A few weird plot jumps and a little creepy at times for me, but an interesting new world to read about and explore. Pretty sure it will meet my criteria of leaving me wondering what happens to the characters after the book ends.
Very promising premise. Not executed very well, at least for adults.. Very much a YA book. Will not be reading anymore of this series.
