I really wasn't expecting to like this one as I'm generally not a fan of historical fiction, but I absolutely loved it! The story was tragic, and sometimes the characters were frustrating, but who could blame them given their circumstances? I really enjoyed reading about World War 2 from the perspective of two sisters. It's always great to read about courageous women!

Wow. Stayed up late 2 nights in a row to finish this one. Well written on a difficult but important time in history.
This book has really stuck with me.
