Yep, I liked it. The Qhuinn and Blay moments were touching, emotional, fulfilling, and oh yeah, scorching HOT. The first sex scene was so surreal, I thought I was reading fanfic for a second. I had to pause and collect myself. It's really happening!!!
Okay, so it wasn't perfect. There are certainly things wrong with this book (gay men CAN have sex in positions other than doggy style), but the reason I counted down the days to this release - all the th ...more

No one got forever. And it was a fucking crime to waste what you were given.
Lover Reborn
The book isn't perfect or even close to it, but it gave me resolution. The story of Qhuinn and Blay.
Also:
*I've been waiting for this since LM.
*It got me into m/m, for which it deserves another star.
That doesn't say I'm happy with all of it. The (too) many subplots were boring as hell - I skipped a lot of the non-Qhuay chapters on my first read and I haven't gotten around to a second one. Time limitations su ...more

The revelation at the end of Lover Reborn
had all the qhuay fans in ecstacy! Finally and at last JR WARD listened to her readers!!!
It created
Me…Moi…..As all my GR friends in the BDB Group know I spent the last year “gnashing” my teeth about this book…all because I just wanted it to be Qhuinn and Layla….and absolutely “hated” Blay!!!!!!!!! I could not understand why so many “fans” loved this red-haired guy!!!!! In my head, he was just this “wimp” who was trying to get in between Q & L.

I appaude J.R. Ward for having the balls to write the story we wanted despite the nay sayers that readers didn't want m/m romance story. NOT TRUE.

This book is Dawson´s Creek meets BDB :P
I never write a review (I just rate them), and particularly with this books, I´ve been saving to rate it for some time since I read the book some weeks ago but didn´t rate it because I didn´t want to do it before others started reading.
Now, it is also worth the comment because to me this book was worst than Lover Unleashed, and that is something to mention, since it is among one of the books I liked the least among many books I read in my life, I never tho ...more

It's really hard for me to rate this book. Part of me want to give it only 1 star because I just couldn't get into the book. I got more from the subplots of Assail and Trez than I did for Qhuinn and Blay, and that's saying something.
Then there's the part of me that wants to give the book 5 stars. I got more feeling from the last 12 pages of the book than I did the other 579 pages. Which fucking sucks. This burn in my chest is what I was missing from the rest of the book. I think that if Ward had ...more

REVIEW HAS SPOILERS!!!
Lover At Last... the most anticipated book of the year. A solid 3.5 stars
Strap yourselves in. This is a very long review! I usually post praises first but for this book I'm posting the cons first since they eclipsed the main story, ruining my overall enjoyment. It pains me to state this but despite Ward's commendable efforts, this series is running on exhaust fumes. Here's why:
Cons:
1) I would Have preferred a nice novella than an overloaded story full of side plots I ...more

I promised to explain my 2 star review, so I'll do that first then jump on in. JR gets a 2 star rating for unoriginality. I know it's hard in this day and age where everything is a rehash but she is pushing it with me. Folks will disagree, and fair enough, but for this review? it stands. JR is VERY predictable, and doesn't disappoint with Lover At Last hence the rating. It's WHY we love her, and it's HER style, but I'm over it. I would do the same for other authors. The other star is for Qhuinn ...more

I give this a 3.5. it would have been more because I LOVED Qhuinn and Blay's storyline but I knocked off some points for all the secondary storyline. There was too much and I felt as if it was a fill in............I recommend though. Don't skip this book if you love the series.

This book in its totality is not really a 5-star book, but honestly that is all Assail's fault, so I am going to pretend, for the purpose of this rating, that Assail does not exist.
I LOVED the Qhuay storyline. I was a little late to the game (damn work!) so I was afraid from seeing other people's reactions that there wouldn't be enough tenderness for me. Happily, those fears were not realized. I saw lots of tenderness between them, even in the midst of the miscommunication, hurt, and anger. And ...more

I love ALL of the BDB world. They're some of my all-time favorite books. Like so many others I've been waiting a long time for Quay! BDB books (leading to Vutch fanfics) are what got me into reading M/M. I could NOT wait for this one and I wasn't disappointed. There could have been more of Quays story told, on both parts. Like, more of their friendship growing up. Much of the nearly 600 pages were spent on side-stories leading to almost inevitable new books. Good side stories, but ones that took

I really liked this story - both the plot action and the love stories. the interactions were so much fun, and the constant mis-understandings were so sad, funny and real. I'm intrigued by the interactions of Assail/sola, Trez/Selena (or serena) and Layla/Xcor. Looking forward to the threads being tied up
